Reservations are on a first-come first-serve basis and are tentative until secured with a 50% non-refundable deposit.
When the deposit is received, RIVTECH PORTABLE CINEMAS LLC’s services are guaranteed for your event on that date that you picked.

Licensing (Public Events)
Once you have selected your movie, we will help you acquire legal rights to screen it at your public event.
WE as the equipment provider, are not allowed to obtain the license for you, the end-user must do so.
We will supply you with the film licensing contact information so you can obtain the license for the movie title. You may contact these film licensing companies directly for more information and pricing.

If you are hosting a backyard movie party in the privacy of your own home you will not need a film license.
However, if you plan on staging an outdoor movie night in a public place we recommend that you purchase the appropriate non-theatrical license. RIVTECH PORTABLE CINEMAS does not purchase the film license for you, but put you in touch with the appropriate parties who will be happy to assist you.
Respecting copyrighted movies is fundamental for legitimately hosting outdoor movie events. By respecting the copyright licensing laws, RIVTECH PORTABLE CINEMAS supports outdoor movie entertainment.
Other media technicians are at your service to present more than a movie. You can present sponsorships ads, on-screen video games, music videos, announcements, and much more!
Weather Policies
Worried about the weather? Don't be!
RIVTECH PORTABLE CINEMAS guarantees you one make-up event with the rain date guarantee.
You may shift event dates due to forecasted inclement weather.
No charges will be applied if our staff has not begun traveling to your venue.
If the weather looks threatening (imminent rain, looming thunder clouds,
dangerous winds capable of damaging equipment)
RIVTECH PORTABLE CINEMAS reserves the right
to protect its own equipment by canceling setup/production.
RIVTECH PORTABLE CINEMAS reserves the right to delay or halt setup
of the production until suitable weather conditions exist.
Rain Date Guarantee - Additional $39.00.
This is not mandatory but it is good to have in the event it rains that day.
